tianhe citic plaza

tianhe citic plaza, situated in tianhe north road, including a 80-storeyed main building, two 38-storeyed wing buildings on either side and a 5-storeyed zhongtian shopping center. it covers 23,000 square meters in size. this 391-meter high building was the highest one in china in 1990s. before that, the 63-storeyed guangdong international building in guangzhou, is the highest one in china. citic plaza faces tianhe sports center, with linhe west and east roads on either side. guangzhou east railway station and the master stop of metro are building it. on the left, stands the chinese mayors’ tower. near the plaza, there are teem plaza, guangdong book center, 3 large computer centers and also many colleges and universities.

the wing buildings are for business and living. the unit area differs in size from 100 square meters to 200 square meters. the lobby of the zhongtian shopping center is 21.3-meter high with a grand circle glass dome on the ceiling. the 4-storeyed shopping center covers 34,000 square meters in total. each shop front is cut off by glass. many famous brand goods domestic and abroad are sold there, such as fashion clothes, ornaments. the donghai seafood restaurant on the third floor is open till night. the high-level meeting room for the magnates on the fifth floor covers 4,500 square meters and equipped with gymnasium, recreation room, playground for children and swimming pool.
